Toastermasters meeting

Tonight, 08/20/08, I attended the toastmasters meeting in Newark at 37171 Sycamore St. Newark. The meeting was scheduled to take place in Newark Library. However, it was going to be a surprise party for George Marshal, who became a DTM, Distinguished ToastMaster, today. I met Albert, outside Sycamore apartments and he led me into the meeting. Margaret was delivering the speech to honor George. It was a speech cum poem with an album containing graphics to add meaning to Margaret's words. George was given the DTM badge of honor. After the felicitations, dinner was arranged. I met Deviant, the VP for membership. Other people who I met: Manoj, Gopinath, Lin, Prasant, Prasad, and Aga.
